Battery Replacement: We recommend a professional battery replacement every 2-3 years. This is not just to maintain timekeeping; it is crucial to prevent the risk of battery leakage, which can cause irreparable damage to the delicate internal movement. Avoid Magnets: Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields (such as those from smartphones, laptops, and speakers). These fields can temporarily interfere with the stepper motor inside the quartz movement, causing it to stop or run inaccurately. Simply moving it away will restore its function.

If You Prefer a Shine: If you wish to restore the original luster, you can gently polish the case using a soft, dry micro-abrasive polishing cloth. Be very careful to polish only the brass case, avoiding the watch crystal and strap.

Our stainless steel is a mark of durability. It is corrosion-resistant and robust. To maintain its finish, simply wipe the case with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and dust.

Deeper Cleaning: If your watch is rated 3ATM, do not submerge it. The bracelet can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. If your watch has a higher rating (5ATM or more), you can use a soft-bristle brush with lukewarm water and mild soap to gently scrub the links. Rinse and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth immediately.
A Precise Guide to Water Resistance
Understanding your watch's water resistance is crucial to prevent damage. Most Canon Quartz watches feature a 3ATM rating.

5ATM (or "Water Resistant"): This rating signifies that your watch is splash-resistant.

It IS Safe For: Accidental splashes, rain, and hand washing.

It IS NOT Safe For: Showering, bathing, swimming, snorkelling, or diving. The sustained pressure from a showerhead or submersion in a pool will exceed the seal's limits and cause water to enter the case.
